Fellow Troopers, Veterans, Descendants, and Friends —
It is my privilege to serve as your President. Since taking this post on July 1, 2019, my charge has been simple in words and demanding in practice: preserve and enhance the legacy of the 10th Mountain Division for future generations.
That legacy now spans more than eighty years — from the WWII alpine troops who scaled Riva Ridge, through the cold-war years, to the modern light infantry who have carried the patch through more deployments than any other division since 2001.
Our Strategic Priorities
- Grow our membership — especially with the modern generation of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans who deserve a place in this family.
- Demonstrate value — through scholarships, wounded-warrior support, the Service Dog program, and memorials.
- Evolve as an organization — integrating technology and modern communications to reach members wherever they are.
- Unite under one patch — bringing together active soldiers, retired veterans, descendants, and chapter members nationwide.
If you are not yet a member, I invite you to join us. If you are a member, thank you. If you can give, please consider supporting our programs — every dollar goes to the troopers and families who carry this legacy.
Climb to Glory!
Jim Redmore
President, National Association of the 10th Mountain Division
